Biography

Working as a librarian and an Archivist in the Intellegentsia Guild, Friede has a disposition towards being crude and violent, but occasionally shows off a kinder side, especially toward her companion Bai Long and her friend, Firefly. She has an aggressive, cold, and crude personality with her most notable characteristic being her very foul-mouthed demeanor towards nearly everyone. Her years of being an outcast has caused her to become bitter yet lonely, adding to her irrational anger and loathing those of Xianzhous and those who she perceives to be enemies. However, this tough exterior served to hide her emotions and self-hatred about her past along with secrets that she was unwilling to tell anyone. Friede is an independent and determined person, occasionally revealing a kinder, thoughtful, and encouraging side to her when traveling as the Trailblazer's companion throughout their journey. Not much is known about Friede as she doesn't really talk about her past. She was once offered to work as a Professor due to her excellent display of intelligence, however she declined, preferring to remain as a librarian as she wished instead to keep a low profile. There were rumours swirling around that she was a runaway from a noble family, and people began referring her as 'Lady Friede', much to her dismay. She lives peacefully with her companion dragon, Bai Long, in an apartment. Though she often bickers with the dragon, Friede obviously cares for Bai Long with her unconditional love.

A thirstful whore with lips agasm,
Her web unspundled, left to blight.
A fortrace drowning in the blasm,
Her walls vansieged by a falseful mite.
An anvil tyed by lock and lash,
Her abounding like the hare.
An icy love by fire knashed,
Her tears for him a dulcy aere.
A farewell kiss from the lealfast drake,
Her end a cork pulled from the wine.

Which falls in gemel angels' wake,
And reddens this, our dearthly stein.
Or will the flower splay her flaps,
Contract and birth a world defaced?
Or will her thornish sword be snapt,
The flower broken for the vase?
Or will the songstyr dance and scend,
A eulogy beneath her boots?
The world will meet a tangled end,
Betwixt its voul, labrynthin roots.

Hailing from an unknown planet from a faraway galaxy, Xīng Jīnzhì suffered a terrible childhood up to adulthood. She was gifted the ability to use magic. However, in the eyes of her parents, Jīnzhì is deemed to be cursed and brings in misfortune. They would physically and verbally abuse her, working her from dawn to dusk without much rest and food. After her mothers' death from illness, rumors spread around the village the Jīnzhì is the one responsible for it as she was 'cursed'. People began to throw stones at her, and Jīnzhì sleeps in the storage instead. While still a young teen, her father married her away to an abusive noble who beats her and violates her as he pleases. She was forced to work in a pleasure house as a side income for her husband.Frustrated by her way of living, Jīnzhì pocketed whatever money from her abusive husband and escaped, only to be robbed and violated by a group of bandits. Jīnzhì was murdered after that, finally getting the death she desired. However, she soon awakens after, and realizing that she's immortal. Jīnzhì fell into despair, but also finds joy in this. She returned to her husbands' place and ultimately murdered everyone in the household with glee. Jīnzhì soon returned to the village as well, killing every person and burned the village down without much remorse. As she continued to wander, Jīnzhì had subconsciously decided to kill anyone in sight when she wanted something. She has killed so many people –regardless of age or gender– that she has lost count. One day, she broke into a household for food and killed every single family member. When the eldest daughter asked her reasons for the slaughter before her death, Jīnzhì found that she had no real justifications for doing so and merely did it as a reflex.Family, friends, and home, no longer exist. Jīnzhì has nothing now but daily combat. With unaffected determination, she kills hes opponents. The thrill of battle helps her forget reality. Now, "revenge" has for Jīnzhì become an excuse with which to kill her opponents. Anger flows through her body. And always, her heart is empty as the void.

Encounter with LongJīnzhì first met Long during her battle with the last kingdom standing in her planet. Seeing how dangerous Jīnzhì is, They attempted to kill the Jīnzhì as game, but Jīnzhì used Long firepower and brute strength to eliminate the soldiers trailing her. Seeing that Their effort is futile and only contributing into her massacre, Long departed briefly as Jīnzhì slaughtered every last person in the planet. It took years, but she did it. Jīnzhì sat down by her lonesome in the ruins of the castle and wept. The Aeon Long returns and asked her if this what she desired. She replies,"Can you hear it? The stillness...this silence...it's all mine."Realizing that Jīnzhì is an immortal, Long deduced that there's no point killing her, as she'll couldn't die. Long took Jīnzhì beneath Their wing and showing her the torment she has wrought upon the world as a punishment. It is imperative that she sees the pain and poverty she has caused to the lands, so that it prevents the same course of action from occurring again. In the midst of traveling together, she was able to regain control of her mind, Jīnzhì began to feel the full weight of guilt brought upon her by her actions and desired to die. She asked Long to grant her the sweet bliss of death, but the Aeon suggested that she should travel with him throughout the galaxy and seek the meaning of existence, and perhaps by doing so, they're able to find the answer.Jīnzhì soon became friends with Long as they travelled together, sharing an unbreakable bond.

Emanator and DeathWith the guidance from Long, Jīnzhì is reformed into a new leaf, even though they often banter with each other. Proud of her growth, Long decided to have Jīnzhì to be an Emanator. Jīnzhì declined, feeling that she's unworthy of it. However, Long thinks otherwise. She accompanied Long up until Their dying moments. In Their dying breath, asked Jīnzhì to look after Their descendants and to guide them in the right path, as well follow the path of Permanence. They blessed Jīnzhì as Their Emanator before breathing Their last breath.Distraught over Long's death, Jīnzhì wept, lamenting that she couldn't tell Them how grateful she is to be with Them. It then came into her mind, that she's now an Emanator. As she whisper an apology, Jīnzhì abuses her power as an Emanator and attempts to forcefully reincarnate Long.

Vidyahara and Xianzhou AllianceYears after Long's death, Jīnzhì travelled around the world with a newborn dragon in her care, Bai Long, the reincarnation of Long. She did not hold her promise that she would guide his descendants, the Vidyadharas. Upon arriving in Rolling Deep, Jīnzhì discovered that the place is abandoned and the creatures, the plants, microorganisms grew hostile. Realizing that she was too late, Jīnzhì sought to find the Vidyadharas, only to find them allied with the Xianzhou and made it as their new home, much to Jīnzhì's dismay.Jīnzhì desired to kill the Xianzhous and took over for the sake of Long's descendants, however, she recalled Their words of the past, saying that she shouldn't kill. Consulting the High Elders, Jīnzhì requested that they should break the alliance with the Xianzhou and find a new world for themselves. Jīnzhì promised that she'll assist them as an Emanator of the Aeon Long, however, her request was denied as the Vidyadharas are settled in and refused to move any longer.Jīnzhì left, dissatisfied with the High Elders' decision to remain with the Xianzhou. She vowed to ascend into Aeonhood, in hopes to create a new world for the Vidyahara themselves and possibly to fully bring back Long as an Aeon.
